Mantovani의 Ebb Tide (썰물) - Full HD

명 하프 주자 '로버트 맥스웰'이 작곡한 노래로, '칼 시그만이 가사를 써서 1953년에 출판되었다. 맥스웰은 제 2차 대전 중 미국 연안 경비대원으로 매일 바다를 바라보면서 지냈던 적이 있었으며, 그 무렵의 추억에서 이 노래를 만들었다.

맥스웰의 하프 연주 레코드로 히트했고, 이어서 '빅 데몬'이 부른 레코드로 호평을 받았다. 〈Unchained Melody〉로 유명한 '라이처스 브라더스'도 이 곡을 부른 바 있는데, 원래는 기악곡이기 때문에 노래로 하기에는 많은 어려움이 있다.

만토바니 악단의 연주로  영상의 배경은 미국 오레곤주 퍼시픽시티에서 2마일 떨어진 케이프 키완다이다.
